This is a Swiss Smoky Quartz ( not Brazil ) , and a very gemmy, double terminated crystal of the finest quality. Could be a floater, though there is a small dab of white crystaline mineralization on the bottom which may or may not be a point of attachment. Not common to get a crystal of this quality and form from the Swiss Alps.
