#1017 / SPHALERITE var. Cleophane - Bulgaria

Locality: Ninth of September Mine, Madan Dist., Rhodope Mts., Bulgaria
Size: 4 x 4.5 x 2.5 cm.
A superb "Cleophane" featuring a group of fine, lustrous twinned crystals attractivly set on white 'needle' quartz on matrix. a small galena cube on the lower left side. The sphalerites are clean with no damage. This is my best one, from my personal collection.
