QUARTZ
SOLD
Locality: Tinejdad, Errachidia Prov., Meknes-Tafilalet, Morocco
Size: 8.5 x 8 x 3.5 cm
Quartz colored deep red by internal inclusions of Hematite.  This is a new find from the
same area as in the past, but the form is new, composed of all terminal faces and no
prism faces. The color is also deeper than previous material and makes outstanding
specimens for a quartz suite. I only saw two dealers with this new find in Tucson and
booth said the find appears very limited.
