#01 / HYDROCERUSSITE on CERUSSITE - $80
Tsumeb, Namibia
3 x 3.5 x 2 cm
A very nice Cerussite crystal partially altered to the rare mineral Hydrocerussite. This is complete all around and it is difficult to even find a point of attachment except maybe
that dark area of unknown mineral on the back as seen in the center pic. There is no damage anywhere on the crystal and there is complex cyclic twinning. Good
Hydrocerussites are quite rare compared to the much more common Cerussite and this is in exceptional condition as most tend to exhibit some dings due to the fragile nature of
the species.
#04 / COPPER - $54
Itauz Mine, Dzerzhazgan, Kazakhstan
4 cm long
An exceptional crystal of Copper from this now famous mine. The crystal is 4 cm long, a floater, with a long twinned crystal ending in a neat little twistie group.
Very Choice.
#01 / CINNABAR - $120
Fenghuang, Hunan Prov., China
5 x 4.5 x 2.4 cm.
A very nice twinned crystal measuring a half inch long (1.2 cm ) aesthetically perched on a matrix of small calcite and quartz crystals.
An excellent display with high luster and very deep red color. An excellent Chinese cinnabar that won't break the wallet.
#02 / GALENA - $180
Ninth of September Mine, Madan, Bulgaria
6.5x 5 x 3.5 cm
A very three dimensional group of about a dozen brilliant mirror faced crystals to about 1.7 cm on edge on a matrix of small brilliant sphalerites. Much better than the
pictures as I had a difficult time photographing such a bright silver-black specimen. Very Choice.
#02 / EPIDOTE - $120
Pakot, Northern Frontier Dist., Kenya
7.2 x 2.8 x 1.5 cm
From that one time find of about 4 years ago, came these wonderful large lustrous epidotes that the subsequent article in the Min Record stated that these stood with the best
for great epidotes. This 2 3/4 inch long crystal is flattened on the back where it grew against another mineral but it is crystalized with multiple stepped faces. The front is clean
and glassy on the termination and top half and has a wall contact on the lower half. These disappeared from the market very fast , so here's a chance to get one if you missed
out.
#01 / WULFENITE - $70
San Francisco Mine, Sonora, Mexico
3.2 x 2.5 x 2 cm.
A great toenail / small miniature with the best luster and a nice butterscotch color. This is so bright that I had trouble with reflections from the lights when I photographed it. No
damage. Very Choice!
