Locality:  Jebel Imalo, Imilchil, Er Rachidia Prov., Morocco
Size: 4 x 3 x 2.8 cm
A complete all around floater crystal group, reminiscent of 'Herkimer Diamonds' and just
as fine!  I acquired several of these in Tuscon (this is my last one) and it appears that
these are quite uncommon, especially in this superb quality.  No damage and very sharp
and clean.  Looks just like a fine Herkimer!

A large cabinet group of clear, gemmy Quartz crystals to 8 cm long.  Some are double
terminated, including a neat tabular crystal sitting on top.  Very choice.
Locality: Crystal Point Mine, Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania
Size:  8 x 6 x 5 cm
Nice bright Quartz crystal group collected in the late 1980's.
Haven't seen anything from this locale in many years, so I don't know if it is still active.
Neat Pennsylvania piece.
Locality: Corinto, Minas Gerais, Brazil

Large gemmy Quartz crystals. the two largest measuring 7.5 and 5.5 cm tall.
Pristine condition with no tip or edge chips, and some neat inclusions on the lower back
and deep down in the crystals.  A top quality, aesthetic Quartz.
Locality: Leichang, Guangdong Prov., China
Size:  9 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm
Hematite blades nested among gemmy Quartz prisms on this old specimen from
the late 1990's. Very nice aesthetics.
QUARTZ var. Amethyst

Botryoidal Amethyst (Grape Amethyst ) from this unique locale.
Lots of 'grapes' growing off a flat plate.
QUARTZ var. Amethyst

Amethyst phantom Quartz on matrix in large partially sceptured lustrous crystals.
Well balanced specimen from an unusual locale.
Ertel Quartz collection #1018
Locality: Anahi Mine, Santa Cruz Dept., Bolivia
Size: 10.5 x 5.5 x 4.5 cm
A very large floater, double terminated Ametrine crystal weighing 375 gm / 13.2 oz.
This crystal has many faces and is similar to a fenster type crystal or maybe an
etched crystal.  The last 3 pics are all back light showing the gemmy interior and
color banding.  Very good condition.
Locality: Krushov Dol Mine, Madan Dist., Rhodope Mtns., Bulgaria
Size:  10 x 11 x 5.5 cm.
A large Quartz specimen from pre 1999 mining during the early years of specimen recovery.
A very fine specimen with no damage and a lot of sparkle due to the many tiny faces all along
the prism faces. Very much like is called "cactus quartz".  From my personal Quartz collection.
Locality: Stromberg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany
Size:  11.5 x 8 x 5 cm
A rare "artichoke" quartz from a short lived find in the 1970's.  It is my understanding
that this was one of the best that was collected by Herbert Seckler in the late 1970's.
It is very bright with mirror faces and has no tip dings like many of the others that
were collected. Very rare on todays market.
QUARTZ var. Amethyst (Grape Chalcedony)
Locality: Mamuju area, Sulawesi Barat Prov., Sulawesi, Indonesia
Size:  7.5 x 5 x 4 cm
Very nice 'grape amethyst' specimen. It has that sparkly micro crystal surface
on the botryoids that is so desireable.
QUARTZ & Feldspar
Locality: Erongo, Namibia
Size: 10 x 9 x 3 cm.
A complete crystalized all around Quartz crystal with an attached feldspar crystal.
The crystal is bright and lustrous with a somewhat typical termination at one end
and tapering to a sharp edge at the oposite end.  Although it gives the impression
of a partial crystal, the reverse is completely crystalized with hundreds of flattened
faces as seen in the last pic. Really neat and unusual Quartz.
QUARTZ w/ Hematite
Locality: Tinejdad, Errachidia Prov., Meknes-Tafilalet, Morocco
Size: 10 x 11 x 4 cm.
A large plate of red Quartz crystals included with Hematite.  This one is from the original finds of
about 5 years ago and is in very good condition. In the past few years, good clean specimens
with good luster and color have become quite scarce, and this one is very nice.
Locality: San Cristobal, Yauli Prov., Junin Dept., Peru
Size: 4.5 x 3.2 x 2.6 cm
A most aesthetic Quartz spray on a shard of matrix covered with small Bournonite and Quartz
crystals on the top and sphalerite on the bottom. A very pretty miniature!
