#03 / CUPRITE  -  $375
Tsumeb, Namibia
8.5 x 4.5 x 2.3 cm.
A fine, undamaged plate of Cuprite crystals on underlying matrix with crystals to a cm on edge. The lighting has accentuated the red
color a bit, but the red color is definitely there.  Tsumeb cuprites of this caliber are very uncommon on the market and this one
would be a fine addition to a Tsumeb collection.

#37 / CALCITE - $25
Leiping, Guiyang, Hunan Prov., China
5.6 x 4 x 3.8 cm
This specimen features a sharp, lustrous double terminated crystal on a dark matrix.  The Calcites are lightly tinted a red color from hematite. This is an older
specimen acquired in 2000 and probably mined in 1999 or earlier.

This is a very three dimensional group of intergrown garnet crystals on a thin slab of matrix. It is complete all around and the pics show the group from all sides.
The crystals are clean and sharp as can be seen and it displays very well.  Choice.
