#07 / MALACHITE after AZURITE  -  $40
Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Cananea Dist., Sonora, Mexico
5 x 2.5 x 2 cm.
A 3.5 cm crystal (sort of a rosette) on another pseudo.  Excellent large crystal pseudo.
#09 / FLUORITE  -  $65     Now $50
Altaie, Xingjiang Prov., China
7 x 5 x 5 cm.
.Back around 2003, a very small number of these stunning Altai Mountain fluorites turned up from a fellow who had them stashed away. They were
found some years back, in this mountainous area near Mongolia which hadn't yet produced much compared to other parts of China. The internal color
when backlit is dramatic and the external crystal faces are very showy.  I don't know if this fluorite is from the same stash from the same fellow, but
there were only a few available and these are the first I've seen in the past six years. The pics didn't come out as well as I'd have liked and the fluorite is
definitly better than the pics show!

#05 / MAGNETITE  -  $40
Cerro Huanaquino, Totora, Potosi Dept., Bolivia
6 x 5.5 x 4 cm.
Sharp octohedrons to 1.3 cm across on matrix.  A couple damaged crystals as is the norm on these Bolivian
magnetites, but overall a very good high luster specimen
#01 / MARCASITE  -  $70
Sparta, Illinois
9 x 9 x .6 cm.
A large, very uniform '
Pyrite Sun' from the coal shales of Illinois. Never have been able to determine whether they are pyrite or marcasite.  Some folks
think these are pseudomorphs after some fossil such as a sand dollar, and others feel that the layered shale that they formed in limited crystal growth to
the radial directions.  Whatever, they are very cool.  I bought a bunch of these back in the mid 1970's and quickly traded them all away except this one.
This was by far the best of the lot, and I kept it in my collection till now.  It would be hard to find a better quality one anywhere. This one is perfect, with
no edge damage at all.
#03 / FERBERITE  -  $45
Tasna Mine, Cerro Tasna, Nor Chichas Prov., Potosi, Bolivia
3.5 x 2.3 x 1.6 cm.
A twinned crystal thats almost a floater with only a small area on the back where it appears to have separated from another crystal.
An excellent classic twinned crystal in wonderful condition.

#01 / ARSENOPYRITE -  $95
Santa Eulalia, Chihuahua, Mexico
6.5 x 5.5 x 5.5 cm.
An old timer from the mid 1970's, this very good Arsenopyrite has large, sharp well defined crystals to
about 1.3 cm on matrix. Choice with no damage.  Ex Dick Willis specimen.
