#27 / CALCITE  - $195
Piz Beverin, Thusis, Grissons, Switzerland
15.5 x 9.5 x 8 cm
A large cabinet Calcite from the Swiss Alps featuring a huge main
crystal over 12 cm across. The Calcite stands up on edge as can be
seen in the side view at the lower right. I have shown views from the
front where several nice Quartz crystals to about 6 cm show in the
foreground and from the back showing the nice lustrous Calcite faces
dominating the rear of the specimen. The specimen is in pretty good
condition considering the extreme difficulty involved in getting
something like this out of the high alpine clefts. There are a couple of
edge nicks on the calcite, but as you can see, they do not detract,
considering the size of the crystal. This is a very large, rare Calcite.
#29 / CALCITE  - $395
Dal'negorsk, Primorskiy Kray, Russia
10 x 12 x 9 cm
A large cabinet Calcite featuring three distinct forms of Calcite. An opaque white, thin platy form, on top of which sets a dramatic
gemmy complex rhombohedron that measures 7  cm across. In the back can be seen a complex scalenohedron.  Calcites of this
size and quality have been unavailable for many years now. The large main crystal is very clean and gemmy and very fine.

#05 / CELESTITE - $30
Scofield Quarry, Maybee, Michigan
6 x 4 x 2.2 cm.
A pair of great transparent blue Celestite crystals ( and a few smaller ones ) on just the right amount of matrix.  The crystal morphology is wonderful.
My label indicates I acquired it in 1982, so its an older find.

#01 / AXINITE-(Fe) - $80
Puiva, Tyumen Oblast', Western Siberia, Russia
3.5 x 2.8 x 1.5 cm.
A single, complete all around, double terminated FerroAxinite crystal growing on a partial crystal. The color, form and luster is very fine. The
crystal is in great condition with only a few trivial edge marks. These have pretty much disappeared from the market as they are probably the finest
examples of the species extant.
#06 / BARITE  -  $48
Cavnik, Romania
7 x 5 x 3 cm.
An excellent barite cluster of blue-grey bladed crystals from this classic locale.
