These specimens are from the personal collection of the late Gary Grenier. Many of you from the East coast
remember Gary from his website "The Mineral Show". He retained some of the finest Bulgarian pieces
available back 10 - 15 years ago when he and his partner handled many fine specimens when the mines were
very active. The Bulgarian minerals I am offering represent some of the best that was available.

Davidkovo Mine, Davidkovo, Rhodope Mtns., Bulgaria
10.5 x 7.5 x 3 cm.
This is a two sided specimen with a dense covering of Rhodochrosite on Sphalerite and Chalcopyrite on one side and
scattered Rhodochrosite aggregates on Quartz on the back side. I can find only one small spot where 'ball' of Rhodo is nicked.
