#03 / THOMPSONITE and STILBITE - $150

From a very small find, these Thompsonites are several magnitudes better than those on basalt that have been around for the past half dozen years. These are probably the
finest Thompsonites ever recovered from the Deccan Basalts and are much more aesthetic than the typical chalky balls on basault that you are used to seeing.
This is a choice specimen from the find, consisting of creamy balls of Thompsonite to over 4 cm, intergrown with Stilbite blades jutting out from in between the Thompsonite
balls all the way around. The only point of contact is on the bottom where it sits! This is a stunning addition to an Indian zeolite collection.

A Fluorite ball measuring 3.7 cm across on quartz crystals. The color of the fluorite is accurate. For some reason the quartz has a blue tone to it in the pics that is more grey
white in day light. Very nice Fluorite.

A sparkly white Calcite rhomb in a contrasting black chalcedony vug. The pics didn't capture the micro druse coating the Calcite, but it really sparkles from all the micro
crystals deposited on the Calcite. The crystal measures about 3 cm on edge and 4 cm on the diagonal. Good calcites are not very common in the basalts and this is a little
unusual . . . a good one for a calcite or India suite.
